Tailhook Reunion 2027 — Reno, Nevada

Welcome to the VF-201, VF-202 and VF-1170 Tailhook Reunion 2027 discussion page!

The 2027 Tailhook Association Naval Aviation Symposium — Hook ’27 — is scheduled for August 19–21, 2027 in Reno, Nevada. Additional information about the convention hotel, registration, room rates, and the event schedule will be added here as it becomes available.

The 2026 symposium was held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, and it served as the gathering place for naval aviators, aircrew, veterans, active-duty personnel, families, industry representatives, and friends of carrier aviation.

What Is Tailhook?

The Tailhook Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting U.S. Navy carrier aviation and other sea-based aviation. Its roots go back to the first Tailhook Reunion in 1956 at Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico. What began as a relatively small gathering has grown into an annual Naval Aviation Symposium bringing together generations of people connected with carrier aviation.

The annual Tailhook symposium provides an opportunity to renew old friendships, share squadron stories, meet today’s naval aviators, attend professional presentations and panel discussions, and celebrate the history and future of carrier aviation.
